Highway Hospice Association

Hospice evolves from the vision that every person with a terminal illness deserves quality, meaningful life during the time that is left to him or her. A dignified death is the right of every human being.

The Highway Hospice is a sustainable, credible Non Profit Organisation caring for people with advanced incurable diseases, including HIV, living within the eThekweni Municipal area.

We strive to provide quality in life and dignity in death.

Our services include:

· Direct patient care and support to families and caregivers

· Bereavement support

· Education and training in Palliative Care

· Mentorship to and networking with partner organisation


Hospice Fundraising	Corporate Membership

Highway Hospice staff and volunteers attended the annual HPCA conference held recently in Johannesburg. The "Have you been touched by Hospice?" campaign was launched. We are very fortunate to have Lucas Radebe and Jacques Kallis as the brand ambassadors for hospice in South Africa.

ALBARAKA BANK DONATES BAKKIE TO HIGHWAY HOSPICE

The Highway Hospice is delighted to be the recipient of a new vehicle, kindly donated by the Albaraka Bank. We raise funds by collecting donated goods from the homes and offices of donors which are then sold in our charity shops. Our existing vehicle is beyond repair and so we were in desperate need of a new one. Thanks to the generosity of Albaraka Bank, we can now continue with collections.
